The global spread of COVID-19 has shone a bright light on the need to completely re-think the ways in which new knowledge is created, shared and managed. A paradigm shift from propriety science to open science is urgently needed to solve perplexing worldwide problems including pandemics and climate climate. This article clearly lays out the case for such a transformative change.
“We are in the midst of a once-in-a-generation opportunity to remake our approach to science.
