Social Europe reported recently that the Council of the European Union has adopted a post pandemic recovery framework that puts human rights at its core. In doing so, it recognized that meeting human needs and creating a sustainable recovery must go hand in hand. This viewpoint is essential if we are to support a shift to the commons that supports people, communities and the eco-sphere. – David Thornley
